A. Kramer’s behavior at a governmental meeting of the KR is not related to speeches of meeting participants - WB Office in Bishkek

Bishkek, February 4 / Kabar /. Head of the World Bank Country Office in Bishkek Alex Kramer’s behavior at a governmental meeting is not related to speeches of participants of the meeting. The World Bank Office in Bishkek reports. 

“ A. Kramer’s behavior is related to his health condition: there was a sudden onset of circulatory disorders of the brain, which led to extraordinary and unusual behavior of Mr. Kramer. The incident is not related to speech of Mr. Koba Gvenetadze, Head of the International Monetary Fund in the Kyrgyz Republic, who was speaking at the time or other persons attending the meeting.

The World Bank Country Office in Bishkek regrets the incident that occurred during a meeting among Government officials and representatives of the donor community on February 3. The unfortunate incident was related to a health matter and does not reflect on the World Bank and Kyrgyz Government’s strong cooperation”, says in statement released by the World Bank Country Office in Bishkek.

Yesterday on February 3 during the governmental meeting with the participation of donor organizations head of the World Bank office in the Kyrgyz Republic Alex Kramer threw a glass of water on the floor and left the room, where the meeting was conducting.
