Bishkek, October 27 / Kabar /. Potato processing plant in Talas oblast will be put into operation in mid-November.
For today all the equipment of the plant is installed. The plant will be put into operation before November 15, the press secretary of the Talas governor told the Kabar Agency.
Today, governor of Talas oblast Koisun Kurmanalieva visited the plant to get acquainted with the final stage of the construction.
Total production capacity of the plant will be 20 tons of potatoes per day and 8 thousand tons in a year.
Earlier in 2008, according to the agreement between the governments of Kyrgyzstan and India, it was decided to build potato processing plant in Talas. As a result, India has delivered equipment for the plant worth $ 2.4 million.
