Manouchehr Moradi: We do not think that the Kyrgyz authorities to allow U.S. to use Transit Center at Manas to attack Iran
Bishkek, February 7 / Kabar /. "We do not think that the Kyrgyz authorities will allow U.S. to use Transit Center at Manas to attack Iran," Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Kyrgyz Republic Manouchehr Moradi said at a press conference at the Kabar Agency, commenting on fears of Kyrgyz President A. Atambaev on possible response attack of Iran on the Transit Center at Manas airport in case of outbreak of a conflict. "The current situation with sanctions and verbal attacks has more psychological nature of the attack on Iran. Our country has a strong scientific and technological base and technology, a strong army. We do not think that any country dares to attack Iran", said M. Moradi.
He stressed that to date there is no need to block the Strait of Hormuz, which is the only sea route for exporting Arab oil and gas to third countries, particularly to the US. "We do not think that Americans will use the Transit Center at Manas or other bases to attack Iran. Now the West is most interested in maintaining stability in the world ", M.Moradi said.
