Bishkek, Jan. 4, 2018 /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan's Valentina Shevchenko retained the first place in the world rating of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), the official website of the UFC reported.
The updated rating was published on Jan. 1, 2018, following the results of the UFC 219 tournament, which was held in the American Las Vegas, where Kyrgyzstan did not take part.
Shevchenko is the first in the world rating (UFC) among women in the weight category 61.5, then after her, American Holly Holm, the third is Julianne Peña (USA).
Note that out of the rating the champion of this weight category remains a fighter from Brazil - Amanda Nunez.
It is reported that the next fight of Shevchenko in the UFC will be held on Feb. 3 in the framework of the UFC Fight Night 125 tournament, where her competitor will be Brazilian Priscilla Cachoeira.
