Bishkek, Sept. 25, 2017. / Kabar/. The trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and the Eurasian Economic Union countries in 2017 increased by 13%, which indicates that the Kyrgyz Republic is part of the integration process, Valery Latypov, trade representative of the Russian Federation in Kyrgyzstan said during the Gaidar readings "Interaction of the Eurasian Economic Union and One Belt, One Road initiative".
He said that 2.5 years have passed since Kyrgyzstan joined the EEU.
"It is worth noting the unique growth of Kyrgyzstan's GDP, which has become higher than in all partner countries. And it seems to me that the country's trade turnover will grow, because the necessary financial instruments are being created," he said.
First of all, Latypov said, this is the creation of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund in support of the Kyrgyz economy with a capital of $ 500 million.
"Such an example of creating this fund is now planned between Kyrgyzstan and China," he added.
