Turkish airline and Boeing-747 developers have disagreements over aircraft crash - Abulgaziev

Bishkek, Jan. 13, 2018. /Kabar/. According to preliminary data of the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC), the crew of the aircraft was guilty of the Boeing 747 crash, first deputy head of the Kyrgyz President’s Office Muhametkaly Abulgaziev told journalists.

He said that at the same time there are disagreements between the Turkish authorities, who are responsible for aviation policy and the aircraft manufacturer. There will be a separate investigation.

IAC should consider all options, according to world practice.

"The governmental commission, which was created by the decree of the Prime Minister for liquidating the consequences of the plane crash, has completed its work. The functions of the government commission included: the restoration of lost property, rebuild houses, etc.," he said and added that the results will be announced after the prime minister and the president of the country study the case.

At the moment, the Ministry of Internal Affairs is working on the investigation of the criminal case opened by the Prosecutor General's Office.

The cargo plane Boeing-747-400F of ACT Airlines (MyCargo), which made a flight from Hong Kong to Istanbul crashed on Dacha-Suu village, not far from Manas airport.

As a result of the plane crash, 39 people were killed: 4 crew members were citizens of Turkey and 35 citizens of Kyrgyzstan. January 17, 2017 was declared a day of mourning.
