Bishkek, Jan. 18, 2018 / Kabar /. Turkey has built a hospital in Bishkek. Representatives of Health Ministries of the two countries, the Embassy of Turkey in the Kyrgyz Republic and the Turkish Cooperation Agency (TIKA) discussed today in Bishkek the new hospital’s system of work.
Kyrgyz Health Minister Talantbek Batyraliev said that the construction of the hospital is a very significant event for the Kyrgyz people. He said that the modern medical facility will provide an opportunity for the population of Kyrgyzstan and all residents of Central Asian countries to receive treatment according to modern standards.
"The media and society are following with great interest the construction of the hospital. Soon many people who are forced to go abroad to receive treatment will stop doing it, because the Kyrgyz-Turkish Friendship Hospital will provide them with all opportunities for proper therapy," Batyraliev said.
The minister stressed that the project is one of the best results of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.
"This project began with the agreement of former Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. It complies with the most modern standards and will become a unique medical center in the whole Central Asia," the Kyrgyz Health Minister emphasized.
Representatives of the Turkish delegation expressed their readiness to provide all possible support in terms of both technical and qualification sides of the hospital. The representatives wthin three days will have a full control over the quality of the facility and will discuss plans of its work.
The Kyrgyz-Turkish Friendship Hospital is a gift from Turkish Government to the people of Kyrgyzstan. It will have a special status of a state enterprise. In total, it is designed for 72 beds, 21 of which are designed for intensive care. According to the project 400 employees are expected to work at this hospital.
