Bishkek, April 24 / Kabar /. Within the framework of a meeting of the SCO Council of Foreign Ministers, a bilateral meeting of Kyrgyz Foreign Ministers Erlan Abdyldaev and Kazakhstan Kairat Abdrakhmanov was held, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the topical issues of Kyrgyz-Kazakh cooperation, in particular, the issues of expanding cross-border cooperation, facilitating travel of citizens of the two countries. The sides also stressed the importance of promoting common levels, contributing to further strengthening of relations between the two countries, the interests of Central Asia at the international level. An exchange of views took place on a number of regional and international issues, interaction within the framework of international organizations and integration associations like the EEU, CSTO and the SCO.
The foreign ministers noted the actively supported Kyrgyz-Kazakh political-economic dialogue contributing to the further strengthening of relations between the two countries.
