Bishkek, Dec. 15, 2017 / Kabar /. The Third World Nomad Games will be held in Issyk-Kul in September 2018, Prime Minister Sapar Isakov told at the presentation ceremony of the games in Bishkek.
He said that in 2018, in addition to competition and the cultural part, there will be also scientific conferences about the nomadic civilization.
The head of government said that this will increase the attractiveness of the country and the level of trust on the part of tourists.
"We are trying to disclose the life of the nomads, the way the nomads lived, what values were then, what they believed and what they were striving for. For this purpose, the Kyrchyn gorge will be turned into the world's largest site, where the culture of the 7th-8th centuries will be represented," Isakov said.
Isakov recalled that in 2012, former President Almazbek Atambayev declared the entire world about the World Nomad Games.
"Five years have passed, during this time our country has changed. The nomadic games became known all over the world and made Kyrgyzstan recognizable. Thanks to the Nomad Games, more tourists began visiting our country. We, as organizers and hosts, want to show the whole world the image of a nomads, their culture and traditions," Isakov added and said that the game is included in the list of cultural heritage of UNESCO.
"I am happy to announce that the Third World Nomad Games will traditionally be held in September 2018," the Kyrgyz prime minister added.
The First World Nomad Games were held in Issyk-Kul in September 2014, the Second Games were held in 2016.
