Bishkek, Apr. 16, 2018. / Kabar /. The third round of negotiations between Kyrgyzstan and the European Union on the draft of the new Agreement on Enhanced Cooperation will be held tomorrow in Brussels (Kingdom of Belgium).
Chief of the foreign policy department of the President’s Office Daniyar Sydykov, at a Kabar News Agency told reporters that the Kyrgyz delegation had already flown to the capital of Belgium to participate in a meeting with partners.
"As one of such effective results of the working visit of our president to the EU institutions was the agreement that this Agreement will take into account all aspects that allow to build mutually beneficial cooperation," Sydykov said.
He said that this will strengthen the political dialogue between the parties, which in the future will entail an increase in economic indicators between the Kyrgyz Republic and the EU, and give impetus to other areas of cooperation.
"We expressed our proposal that the new Agreement take into account our visions and strategic plans in accordance with the National Strategy for Sustainable Development - 2040, as well as the digital transformation program Taza Koom and Taza Suu program, Sydykov said.
He said that now it is impossible to say the exact terms for signing this Agreement, but the upcoming talks will make it clear how close this date is to today.
