Bishkek, Nov. 17, 2017 / Kabar /. The team from Kyrgyzstan on traditional wushu won one gold, 2 silver and 5 bronze medals at the 7th World Kung Fu Championship in China.
The federation reported that the team consisted mainly of athletes from the Wushu School of the Seitek National Center for Children and Youth.
It is stated that the Wushuists have already taken part and won medals at the World Championships (2010, 2012, 2014).
The 7th World Kung Fu Championship (traditional Wushu) was held in China, Sichuan Province, Emeishan on November 7-11, 2017. About 4,000 athletes from 57 countries competed in the championship.
