Bishkek, Jan. 31 / Kabar /. Speaker of the Kyrgyz Parliament Chynybay Tursunbekov today, January 31, received Ambassador of India to Kyrgyzstan Jayant Khobragade on the occasion of completion of his diplomatic mission, the press service of the Jogorku Kenesh reported.
The sides discussed the current state and future prospects of Kyrgyz-Indian cooperation, as well as number of other issues of mutual interest. In particular, participants of the meeting expressed their intention to increase and deepen the relations in the sphere of exchange of experience in building parliamentary cooperation in the field of tourism, health, culture, trade and economic cooperation.
The Kyrgyz Speaker expressed satisfaction with the evolving dynamics of mutually beneficial and fruitful cooperation between the two states. He praised the work of Ambassador Khobragade aimed at the promotion of Kyrgyz-Indian relations. Tursunbekov also expressed gratitude to the Ambassador for his contribution to the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries during his diplomatic mission.
Tursunbekov wished Khobragade success in his further activity.
In turn, Ambassador Khobragade thanked for the warm reception and said that he was fortunate to work in a hospitable Kyrgyzstan and stressed that he is leaving Kyrgyzstan with fond memories. The ambassador briefed on the main results and achievements during his tenure as head of the diplomatic mission.
At the end of the meeting the sides stressed the need for further expansion of the entire spectrum of bilateral and multilateral relations between Kyrgyzstan and India.
