Bishkek, Nov. 20, 2017. /Kabar/. The situation with Astana will be improved, Almazbek Atambayev said at his final press conference in the post of the President of Kyrgyzstan.

He said that this is in the interests of Astana itself. "And they will not hide, first of all, Russia itself. This will be adjusted. I believe that I did everything right," he said.

The head of state reminded that in 2010, a representative of the State National Security Committee of Kazakhstan visited the Kyrgyz Parliament and distributed money, then he said that this would not happen again.

Atambayev said that according to Gellapa Fund, Kyrgyzstan is the most stable and promising country in Central Asia.

"It's much easier to rock some other country than ours. The situation will be improved. It will not be harmful for us," Atambayev added.

The president of Kyrgyzstan responded for the statement of former president Roza Otunbayeva that he had to go to Astana and personally talk with Nazarbayev.

"I remember how in 2010 there was a blockade. And I remember Otunbaeva's agreement. Then I just cut off the water for two days and the borders were immediately opened. I talked with Vladimir Putin and told him that if you need the Eurasian Economic Union, you cannot calmly watch it’s collapse," he added.

It should be reminded that Atambayev stated about Kazakhstan's interference in the internal affairs of Kyrgyzstan after the meeting of Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev with presidential candidate Omurbek Babanov before the presidential elections in Kyrgyzstan.

After that, since October 10, 2017, Kazakhstan tightened border control regime on the Kyrgyz-Kazakh and Kazakh-Russian border for Kyrgyz citizens and cargoes from Kyrgyzstan. On October 18, during the meeting in Astana of the prime ministers of Kyrgyzstan - Sapar Isakov and Kazakhstan-Bakytzhan Sagintayev, the sides agreed to ensure the priority order of crossing the state border between the two countries for individuals with personal luggage, vehicles carrying out regular passenger transportation, motor transport; empty cargo vehicles.

For today, there are problems with trucks with goods and products.

At the EEU intergovernmental council in Yerevan on October 25, 2017, Kazakhstan did not sign the road map, which would settle the situation.
