BISHKEK, Aug. 8, 2017. /Kabar/. Chief of the President’s Office of Kyrgyzstan Sapar Isakov met today with the Country Director of the World Food Program in the Kyrgyz Republic Ram Sarawanamuttu on the occasion of the completion of his mission in the country. The Kyrgyz president’s press service reported.
Isakov said that WFP is one of the country's largest partners. Projects implemented in villages to develop and test new measures of social support for the population and improve programs for social protection, food security and nutrition make a tangible contribution to the development of the country. In addition, projects are being implemented in the areas of regional development and disaster risk management are not less important,” Sapar Isakov added.
Director of the United Nations World Food Program Ram Sarawanamutta during the meeting stressed that fruitful and effective cooperation with Kyrgyzstan was achieved and expressed interest and readiness of cooperation within the framework of the development strategy of the country until 2040.
