Sagynbaev: Security Council will implement set of measures aimed at reducing corruption

At the meeting of the Security Council, a very important issue was considered which is connected with fighting against corruption in the system of law enforcement, supervisory and judicial agencies. This was stated by First Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of Kyrgyzstan, Damir Sagynbaev after the Security Council meeting today, the press service of the President’s Office reported.

Sagynbaev said that the draft decision of the Security Council foresees implementation of a set of measures aimed at reducing corruption in the system of the above-mentioned agencies.

"In near future, check out system of civil servants' declarations will be introduced where all expenditures and incomes of law enforcement, supervisory and judicial agencies will be checked first. We will foresee a mechanism in accordance with which illegally earned money by state employees will not be used anyway," he said.

In addition, it is planned to conduct a full inventory of criminal cases that have been filed for corruption and economic crimes.

Prohibition on the use of other people's property by state employees of the above-mentioned agencies will be introduced. "There are cases when certain officials live in other people's houses and apartments, use other people's cars. If such facts are revealed, the owners of movable and immovable property are expected to have in–depth checkings," the First Deputy Secretary of the Security Council said.

He stressed that other issues envisaged in the draft Security Council decision will be further discussed and studied taking into account the proposals made at the meeting of the Security Council. The final draft of the decision of the Security Council will be presented to the public through the mass media later.
