Bishkek, July 17 / Kabar /. Turkish company ACT Airlines will pay compensation to victims of the plane crash on January 16, 2017 in the village of Dacha-Suu near Bishkek until early August, Minister of Emergencies Kubatbek Boronov told journalists.
"There is a government agreement with the Turkish side on the amount, it will suit both the victims and the government, and the Turkish side," he said adding he can’t name the amount of the compensation.
The Minister of Emergencies added that all the funds collected for the victims from people were distributed.
"The government commission included relatives of the dead citizens. According to our information, some of them have already bought apartments for the allocated money," he added.
On January, 16, 2017 a plane crashed near to Bishkek. Boeing 747-412, flying from Hong Kong to Istanbul via Bishkek, could not land at Manas airport and crashed into the nearest village of Dacha-Suu. As a result of the crash, 39 people were killed, including 4 crew members.
