Bishkek, Feb. 16 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan should derive maximum benefit from membership in the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Zheenbekov inspecting the Tokmok-avtodorozhny and Ken-Bulun avtodorozhny checkpoints on the Kyrgyz-Kazakh state border in Chui oblast, the press service of the government reports.
"One of the main priorities in the work of the Government of Kyrgyzstan in the framework of integration into the EEU is the modernization and reconstruction of checkpoints on the border with Kazakhstan, bringing in accordance with international standards of veterinary and phytosanitary laboratories. All these measures are designed to support and create the most favorable conditions for the export of domestic enterprises," the prime minister said.
The Prime Minister added that the modernization of Tokmok-avtodorozhny will be completed in late February and Ken-Bulun avtodorozhny - two months later. Active work is also underway on the reconstruction of a number of checkpoints throughout the country, the completion of which is planned for September this year.
The prime minister, after examining the building of the Tokmok-avtodorozhny checkpoint said that the modernization will allow to create favorable conditions for the organized state border crossing by citizens, while one of the main requirements for data checkpoints is efficiency in their work.
