Osh, Oct.8, 2019. /Kabar/. “Osh through the eyes of photographers of Turkic-speaking countries” photo exhibition opened on Monday, Oct. 7 at the Alymbek-Datka ethnographic complex as part of the XVI meeting of photographers of the Turkic world.
Deputy Mayor of Osh Nurbek Kadyrov, Representative of the Kyrgyz Republic to the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) Kozhogeldi Kultegin, Osh city’s photographers, members of the public, art lovers took part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition.
The purpose of the exhibition is to establish a cultural bridge between the Turkic peoples, to prepare the environment for the transfer of national history, culture and art, traditions and customs to future generations, to support the art of photography.
The exhibition is attended by 12 photographers from Turkic-speaking countries, including Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, North Cyprus, the Republic of Bashkortostan (Russia), the Kabardino-Balkar Republic (Russia) and Kyrgyzstan.
The event is supported by the TURKSOY International Organization of Turkic Culture within the framework of the “Osh – Cultural Center of the Turkic World 2019” International Program.
