Bishkek, Jan. 23, 2018 / Kabar /. Today Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sapar Isakov in the framework of participation in the World Economic Forum in Davos (Switzerland) met with State Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of India Mushabar Javad Akbar, the press service of the Government reported.
The Head of Government emphasized that positive growth has been observed in bilateral relations between the two countries. The Prime Minister once again expressed his gratitude to the Indian side and stressed that the installation of the Bhabhatron 2 radiotherapy unit has been completed and the Kyrgyz National Center for Oncology and Hematology is ready to accept patients.
Isakov also specified that the Kyrgyz government pays special attention to attracting foreign direct investments, and therefore emphasized the importance of establishing contacts with large Indian entrepreneurs to discuss opportunities for cooperation within the framework of the session The Role of India in the World at the World Economic Forum.
"Our government is carrying out digital transformation process of the country. With the aim of building an open state, improving the quality of life of citizens and improving business conditions, the nationwide digital transformation program Taza Koom has been launched. One of the goals of it is to create a regional hub of digital Silk Road for business and innovation," Isakov said.
In this regard, the Prime Minister mentioned the opportunities of bilateral cooperation in two areas: the exchange of experience in implementing programs Taza Koom and Digital India.
The Head of Government expressed his request of training in digital skills for government employees of the Kyrgyz Republic.
“India is ready to assist in implementaiton of Taza Koom project. We are ready to work on a step by step basis in all directions," Mushabar Javad Akbar said.
Then the sides discussed the results of the International Scientific and Practical Conference Islam in a Modern Secular State, held in Bishkek in September of last year.
At the same time, the Prime Minister invited the Indian Sport Delegation to Kyrgyzstan to take part in the Third World Nomad Games in upcoming September 2018.
