Bishkek, Dec. 28, 2017. / Kabar /. In Kyrgyzstan, 725 villages still do not have access to clean drinking water. MP Parhat Tulendybayev said this at the session of the Jogorku Kenesh, where "different" social and economic problems of the population were discussed.
"Water pipes in many of the 725 villages were laid during the Soviet era. And more than 300 villages do not have a water supply network at all," the MP said.
Tulendybaev called for paying attention to providing the population with drinking water.
Another MP Torobai Zulpukarov also stressed that the government should consider the issues of providing the population with drinking water, transforming land in the border areas.
