Bishkek, May 10 / Kabar /. Deputies of Jogorku Kenesh believe that Kyrgyzstan has every chance to become a jewelry center in Central Asia.
MP Ekmat Baibakpaev said that today the country produces jewelry, but all of them are sold abroad. "Why we do not develop the domestic jewelry market? We need to work on this and support domestic producers. We have every chance to become a jewelry center in Central Asia. It would be nice," he said.
Baipakpaev said that this will create additional jobs, additional replenishments to the budget, which in turn will lead to an increase in the economy. "This is a good idea and it needs to be supported," he said.
The government promised to take this issue under control and start working in this direction.
