Bishkek, Jan. 18, 2018 / Kabar /. Saudi Arabia has allocated an additional 5,400 quotas to Kyrgyzstan for the Hajj in 2018, the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan reported.
According to the information, registration for hajj in 2018 will be carried out by biometric passports.
"The Muftiate (Spiritual Administration of Muslims) has begun preparations for the Hajj-2018. We decided in advance to warn all pilgrims to receive biometric passports. The registration will be conducted only by biometric passports," the report said.
Note that in 2017 more than 4 thousand Kyrgyz citizens visited Mecca.
