Following is the text of the note:

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic presents its respect to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and has the honor to inform the following:

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic expresses bewilderment in connection with the meeting of President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev with one of the presidential candidates of the Kyrgyz Republic and an expression of support from the head of Kazakhstan to this candidate in the upcoming elections.

Despite the fact that the head of friendly Kazakhstan said that he does not interfere in the internal affairs of Kyrgyzstan, his words clearly reflect the preference of the Kazakh side regarding the future president of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Thus, the Kyrgyz side assesses these statements, as well as broad coverage by the Kazakh side of this meeting as an attempt to influence the choice of the people of Kyrgyzstan and interference in the internal affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic. "
