Meeting of Kyrgyz-Russian Intergovernmental Commission held in Moscow

Bishkek, Apr. 2, 2018. / Kabar /. Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sanjar Mukanbetov took part in the 20th anniversary meeting of the Kyrgyz-Russian Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical and Humanitarian Cooperation, which was held in Moscow (Russian Federation), the press service of the Kyrgyz government reported.

From the Russian side, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Arkady Dvorkovich and heads of several ministries and departments took part in the meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission.

During the 20th meeting of the Intergovernmental Kyrgyz-Russian Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical and Humanitarian Cooperation, the sides discussed the most pressing issues of bilateral cooperation between the two countries, as well as promising areas for further development and intensification of interaction in such areas as trade, investment, education, energy, industry, health, tourism.

Within the framework of the meeting, a joint task was given to carry out activities aimed at expanding the supply of fruit and vegetable products from the Kyrgyz Republic to the trade networks of the Russian Federation.

At the end of the meeting, the co-chairs of the Intergovernmental Kyrgyz-Russian Commission signed the final protocol, providing for solution of bilateral issues of mutual interest.

In addition, the Economic Cooperation Program between the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Russian Federation for 2018-2021 was signed, which envisages the expansion and development of mutually beneficial cooperation in the areas of trade, investment, fuel and energy complex, transport and transport communications, digital economy, mass communications and communications , health protection, as well as interregional cooperation.
