List of officially banned extremist and terrorist organizations in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Dec. 26, 2018. /Kabar/. Director of the State Commission for Religious Affairs Zaiyrbek Ergeshov announced a list of destructive, extremist and terrorist organizations officially banned by the courts in the Kyrgyz Republic during the round table on “Preventing Violent Extremism and the Role of the Media in Kyrgyzstan” in Bishkek on Wednesday.

Among them are

1. Al-Qaeda;

2. The Taliban;

3. The East Turkestan Islamic Movement;

4. Kurdistan People’s Congress (Kongra-Gel);

5. The East Turkestan Liberation Organization;

6. Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islam;

7. Islamic Jihad Group (Islamic Jihad Union);

8. The Turkistan Islamic Party (Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan);

9. Unification Church;

10. Jaysh al-Mahdi;

11. Jund al-Khilafah;

12. Ansarullah;

13. Al-Takfīr wa al-Hijrah;

14. Akromiya;

15. ISIS;

16. Jabhat al-Nusra;

17. Katibat al-Imam al-Bukhari;

18. Jannat Oshiklari;

19. Jama'at al-Tawhid wal-Jihad;

20. Yakyn Inkar.
