Bishkek, April 19 / Kabar /. The participants of the meeting of the Interparliamentary commission on cooperation between the Federal Assembly of Russia and Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, attended by representatives of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) noted the positive impact of Eurasian integration on the economy of Kyrgyzstan.
"The growth of Kyrgyzstan’s economy by 3.8% in 2016 is the highest among the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (ЕEU). According to our forecasts, these rates of development will continue in Kyrgyzstan this year. This is due to the fact that the Kyrgyz business is gaining new opportunities in a single union market,” deputy director of the Department for the Development of the Integration of EEC Rimma Kiseleva said.
Kiseleva said that participation in the Eurasian integration project led Kyrgyzstan to a new level of trade and economic development: only in January-February this year the trade volume of the republic with partners in the EEU increased by 7.5% and made $ 331.3 million.
