Kyrgyzstan to participate in World Judo Championship in Budapesht

Bishkek, Aug. 29, 2017 / Kabar /. The national team of Kyrgyzstan will start at the World Judo Championship in Budapesht (Hungary), vice president of national judo federation Abay Moldokan told Kabar Agency.

The World Championship started on Aug. 28 and last till Sept. 3.

800 sportsmen from 130 countries will take part in it.

Kyrgyzstan’s team consists of 11 sportsmen, two of them are women.

The Kyrgyz team includes:

Men: up to 60 kg - Otar Bestayev;

Up to 60 kg - Bayaman Sagynbay uulu;

Up to 66 kg - Almaz Altynbek uulu;

Up to 66 kg - Arthur Te;

Up to 73 kg - Bektur Rysmambetov;

Up to 81 kg - Vladimir Zoloyev;

Up to 90 kg - Azamat Bektursunov;

Up to 90 kg - Faruh Bulekulov;

Over 100 kg - Yuri Krakovetsky


Up to 57 kg - Ksenia Beldyagina;

up to 63 kg - Meerim Momunova.

The judo world championships are held by the international judo federation since 1956 and are the most important international judo competitions after the Olympic Games.
