Bishkek, July 25 / Kabar /. The national team of Kyrgyzstan won 11 medals at the Asian wrestling championship, which was held from 22 to 23 July in Thailand, the Wrestling Federation reports.
The national team of Kyrgyzstan won one gold, three silver and seven bronze medals. Greco-Roman wrestlers won the most medals. Kerimberdi uulu Nurtazin in the weight category up to 50 kg won goldmedal, Bayel Satiev (up to 54 kg) and Mustafa Hasanov (up to 100 kg) won two silver medals and four "bronzes" were defeated by Marlen Asykeyev (up to 58 kg), Asyl Toichueva (63 Kg), Talantbev Akylbekov (up to 76 kg) and Daniyar Sherimbekov (up to 85 kg).
Freestyle wrestlers won three bronze medals, Almaz uulu Bekzat (up to 42 kg), Kanybek Abdulkhairov (up to 76 kg) and Farhod Teshebaev (up to 100 kg).
Also, one silver medal in women's wrestling was won by Nuraida Anarkulova (56 kg).
In the team classification, the national team of Kyrgyzstan in the Greco-Roman wrestling became the third, free style wrestlers were the sixth, the women's team in the ninth place.
