Bishkek, Feb. 8, 2018 / Kabar /. Minister of Economy of Kyrgyzstan Artem Novikov briefed Minister of Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Jamshit Khodjaev about the goods that the Kyrgyz Republic is interested in supplying to Uzbekistan.
Novikov said that Kyrgyzstan is ready to supply ecologically clean agricultural products to Uzbekistan: meat, meat and dairy products, potatoes, fruits, vegetables, dried fruits, beans.
In 2017, Kyrgyzstan produced 395 thousand tons of meat, 1 million 556 thousand tons of milk, 1 million 417 thousand tons of potatoes, 1 million 87 thousand tons of vegetables, 259 thousand tons of melons, 241 thousand tons of fruit products, 103 thousand tons of beans.
"We express our interest in the delivery of mineral fertilizers from Uzbekistan and in free sale of mineral fertilizers in the markets of Kyrgyzstan by domestic suppliers," he said.
