Kyrgyzstan improves its position in Index of Economic Freedom

Bishkek, Feb. 16 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan has improved its position by 7 points in the in Index of Economic Freedom of the Heritage Foundation, the press service of the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic reports.

Thus, the level of freedom of the Kyrgyz economy is estimated at 61.1 points, growing to 1.5 points compared to 2016, when the Kyrgyz Republic ranked the 96th in the world.

In the current ranking the country ranks the 89th among 180 countries of the world, and located between the Kingdom of Swaziland and the Commonwealth of the Bahamas and ahead of countries such as China, Russia, Belarus, Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
