Bishkek, Feb. 7, 2018. / Kabar /. An organizing committee for the preparation and participation of Kyrgyzstan at the World Expo 2020 in Dubai has been formed. The corresponding decree was signed by the country's Prime Minister Sapar Isakov, the Kyrgyz Government’s press service reported.
This decision was made with the aim of organizing work on the preparation and participation of the republic in the World Expo-2020 in Dubai (United Arab Emirates).
The document also approved the composition of the organizing committee.
The Organizing Committee was instructed to develop and approve the Concept of the Kyrgyz Republic's participation in the Dubai Expo 2020 from October 20, 2020 to April 10, 2021, and a plan of activities to prepare for this event.
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic was designated as the National Exhibition Operator at the World Expo 2020 in Dubai.
World Expo 2020 will be held in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, between 20 October 2020 and 10 April 2021. The Expo site, which will cover a total of 438 hectares, is located in the Dubai South district, near the Al Maktoum International Airport.
Expo 2020 Dubai is being organized under the theme ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future’, with this being expressed into three subthemes: Mobility, Sustainability, and Opportunity.
180 countries are expected to participate in World Expo 2020 in Dubai.
