Kyrgyzstan busts international drug trafficking channel

Bishkek, Sept. 9, 2017. /Kabar/. An international drug trafficking channel was busted in Kyrgyzstan, 29 kg of Afghan charas was seized, the press service of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

Security officers of Kyrgyzstan detained a car "Hyundai Porter" in Batken region during the operational-search activities to identify and bust the international drug trafficing channel.

During the inspection of the car, 29 kg of drugs (Afghan charas) were seized, which were sent to the CIS countries by transit through the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.

A criminal case is filed on fact.

Currently, the Security Committee conducts investigative and operational activities aimed at identifying, tracing and detaining accomplices, organizers and other persons involved in this crime.
