Kyrgyzstan approves state program for development of intellectual property for 2017-2021

Bishkek, July 13 / Kabar /. Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Zheenbekov signed a decree of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic "On approval of the State Program for the Development of Intellectual Property in the Kyrgyz Republic for 2017-2020”, the press service of the Government reported.

This document was approved in order to create conditions for the functioning of the intellectual property market by 2021.

The document says that Kyrgyzstan needs to reform certain sectors of the economy and increase the potential of industrial and agricultural production. Emphasis will be made on the implementation of the State Program for the Development of Intellectual Property to scale up the technological base, increase the business's receptivity to innovation, increase direct investment in innovation, develop human capital, support and stimulate innovation.
