Bishkek, Sept. 20, 2017. / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan intend to create large joint ventures in the field of machine building, textile industry and processing of agricultural products, Minister of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic, Artem Novikov told Kabar Agency.
He said that Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan plan to sign contracts for more than $ 100 million.
"It concerns only import and export," he said.
Murat Sharshekeyev, president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic said that during the business dialogue in Bishkek between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan an agreement was reached for $ 112 million.
"The work in Osh was also active. During the business meeting contracts were signed there for $ 30 million. There are obvious shifts and the most pleasant is that it relates to import and export. That is, there is no game to the same gate," he said.
