Kyrgyzstan and Serbia hold political consultations

Bishkek, May 13 / Kabar /. Political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of Kyrgyzstan and Serbia were held in Bishkek.

The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reports that, political consultations were held on May 12, 2017 during the visit of Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Envoy of the Republic of Serbia, Goran Alexic to Kyrgyzstan.

The Kyrgyz side was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Emil Kaikiev.

During the consultations, the sides expressed readiness for further strengthening of bilateral relations, discussed a number of issues on the whole range of cooperation, expansion of the legal framework and prospects for trade and economic cooperation.

After the consultations, the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Serbia Aleksic met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Erlan Abdyldaev. In the course of the conversation, alongside with issues of bilateral cooperation, the topical issues of regional interaction, as well as cooperation within multilateral organizations, were discussed.
