Kyrgyz Vice Prime Minister meets with Vice Premier of State Council of China

Bishkek, Apr. 4, 2018 / Kabar /. First Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Askarbek Shadiev met in Beijing with Vice Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Hu Chunhua, the Kyrgyz Government’s press service reported.

Shadiev congratulated Hu Chunhua on his election as a member of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China of the 19th convocation and appointment as Vice Premier of the State Council of China.

During the meeting, Shadiev particularly noted the existing level of bilateral relations and Kyrgyzstan's readiness for further fruitful cooperation with China.

"I note with satisfaction the active cooperation established between our Governments on trade and economic cooperation. We are ready to participate fully in the implementation of projects within the framework of the One Belt, One Road initiative," he said.

In turn, Hu Chunhua stressed that the two countries had very close and friendly relations. China attaches great importance to the development of multifaceted cooperation with Kyrgyzstan, which is an important participant in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and has great authority in the Organization.

"We hope that through joint efforts we will be able to give impetus to the development of bilateral cooperation within the SCO framework," Hu Chunhua said.

First Vice Prime Minister Askarbek Shadiev added that the Kyrgyz side is interested in further enhancing cooperation with the Chinese side in the sphere of direct investments in such sectors as transport, processing industry, agriculture, tourism and other industries.
