Bishkek, May 20 / Kabar /. Sportsman from Kyrgyzstan Muslim Yevlayev won the gold medal at the Games of Islamic Solidarity held in Baku, the press service of the State Agency for Youth, Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
Wrestler Yevlayev made his way to the final in the weight category up to 74 kg in freestyle wrestling. In the final meeting, he defeated athlete from Turkey, Soner Demirtas, and won a gold medal.
This gold medal is the third one of the Kyrgyz team at the Games.
In total the national team of Kyrgyzstan won 13 medals - 3 gold, 3 silver and 7 bronze medals.
