Bishkek, April 29 / Kabar /. Speaker of the Kyrgyz Parliament Chynybai Tursunbekov has arrived today in the village of Ayu in Uzgen region of Osh oblast. On the spot, Chynybai Tursunbekov met with local residents, relatives and friends of citizens who remained under a landslide.
"The death of 24 people as a result of a natural disaster is an irreplaceable loss and a great tragedy for the entire people of Kyrgyzstan," the Speaker said expressing his condolences. He noted that in order to prevent such a tragedy, it is necessary to take urgent measures to resettle citizens from potentially dangerous zones.
He also stressed that the Jogorku Kenesh is ready to provide all possible support and announced that the necessary financial assistance will be rendered the from the Fund of the Speaker.
A landslide in the south of Kyrgyzstan early morning of April 29 swept over 7 houses killing 24 people, including 9 children.
