Bishkek, Sept. 16, 2017 / Kabar /. Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Sapar Isakov met with famous Russian boxers Dmitry Bivol and Sergei Kuzmin, who arrived in Kyrgyzstan for training camps.
The Kyrgyz Prime Minister welcomed the athletes, discussed with them their current activities and issues of boxing development in the country, the Kyrgyz Government’s press service reported.
Bivol and Kuzmin shared with the Prime Minister their positive impressions of the training camps on the territory of Issyk-Kul region. They said that they they are deeply impressed by the natural beauty of Kyrgyzstan and the conditions for playing sports. The athletes said that, the unique climate of Issyk-Kul region is the most favorable for pre-season training camps before major international competitions.
Prime MinisterIsakov stressed that one of the priority areas in the activities of the new composition of the Government is the further development of sports in the country.
In addition, the Head of Government noted that in the autumn of 2018 Kyrgyzstan will host the Third World Nomad Games and invited Russian athletes to this event.
Dmitry Bivol is a native of the Kyrgyz Republic, a Russian boxer-professional, the master of sports of the international class, the temporary world champion under version WBA (2016).
