Bishkek, Jan. 23, 2018 / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov told how to stop migration in the country.
At the first meeting of the working group on improving legislation of local and state administrations and local self-government, the Head of State said that when he was a governor, he did not have enough strength to stop migration, because there was no support.
Turning to the governors of the oblasts, Jeenbekov said that they will now succeed, because he will help them.
"When I was prime minister, I remember that milk producing company Umut opened branches in Talas and Osh oblasts. As a result, the purchase price of milk increased by 5 soms. The presence of 3-4 cows will help a family’s income, plus more attention should be paid to breeding. Receiving 60 liters of milk per day from cows and selling 20 soms per day, one can earn 1200 soms or 36 thousand soms per month. This is comparable to the income of migrants and it is possible to stop migration," Jeenbekov said.
The president urged Guarantee Funds to pay attention to the regions and help farmers in receiving loans. Jeenbekov called them on not to give out loans to relatives and friends, but to help only those who are really in need.
"The Guarantee funds should help poor peasants in getting loans from commercial banks," the Head of State stressed.
