Bishkek, Jan. 18, 2018 / Kabar /. Ombudsman of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kubat Otorbaev and employees of the Institute of the Kyrgyz Ombudsman visited the Center for Prevention of Crime among Juvenile under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, the press service of Ombudsman reported.
During the monitoring, the Ombudsman spoke with the Head of the Center, Azamat Abdyrakhmanov. They talked about key issues concerning juvenile, the reasons for them being in the Center, the conditions of their stay and further rehabilitation.
The Center has its own psychologist, primary care doctor, a 24-hour dining room, lounges, game rooms, a library and a laundry.
During the stay of the juvenile in the Center, its employees identify the identity of children, their place of residence and contact information of their relatives. It is important to stress that the juvenile can be at the Center for no more than 48 hours and during this time character building moral work is carried out with each of them.
Abdyrakhmanov said that the Center plans to build a football field for physical education of the juvenile, as well as to have a special, additional room where the staff of the Center will conduct preventive and psychologically-supportive consultations to the juvenile.
