Bishkek, Dec. 26, 2017. /Kabar/. The Kyrgyz Judo Federation awarded the best 2017 judo players and coaches on Dec 24.
Kanat Amankulov, director of the State Agency for Youth, Physical Culture and Sport of the Kyrgyz Republic, took part in the festive event. He said that there always be good achievements in the federation, where there is discipline. Amankulov specified that there are both figures and facts and the people were convinced of this during the Asian Championship that was held at a high level. "This year we held five Asian Championships in Kyrgyzstan, but the Asian championship, which was conducted by the Judo Federation jointly with the State Agency is exceptional," Kanat Amankulov said.
He also stressed that there are hopes that judo players from Kyrgyzstan will win medals at the Asian Games in 2018.
Thus the best athletes of 2017 were Adil Myrzaev (boys), Erlan Sherov (juniors) and Bektur Rysmambetov (adults).
Yuri Krakovetsky received a special award from the President of the National Judo Federation. The best coaches of 2017 were Islam Bayalinov and Elena Isakova.
