Bishkek, March 31 / Kabar /. During the visit to Japan, Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Erlan Abdyldaev met with President of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Shinichi Kitaoka, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reports.
The sides expressed satisfaction with the achieved high level of cooperation and cooperation over 25 years that have passed since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kyrgyzstan and Japan.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic stressed the high efficiency of JICA's work on the implementation of various socially oriented projects and programs on the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
"We are interested in further deepening cooperation and enhancing the project activities of your organization, which contributes to the social and economic development of our country, improving the lives of our citizens," the Kyrgyz Foreign Minister said. The Minister also stressed the positive impact of JICA's work on the implementation of training and retraining programs, such as JDS, through of which many Kyrgyz civil servants received training in Japan, as well as the One Village One Product project, thanks to which Kyrgyz agricultural products started to be exported to Japan.
JICA President Kitaoka expressed satisfaction with the high level of cooperation achieved over all these years and reaffirmed the intention to increase practical cooperation with the Kyrgyz Republic in the most diverse areas within the framework of the planned projects. In his opinion, One Village One Product project is very good and will be developed. Kitaoka stressed that mutual trust and mutual understanding, characterizing relations between Japan and the Kyrgyz Republic will bring to success in implementing joint programs and projects.
Abdyldaev invited Kitaoka to make a visit at any convenient time to discuss promising areas of cooperation.
