Bishkek, March 10/ Kabar /. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Erlan Abdyldaev met on Thursday with Ambassador of Japan to the Kyrgyz Republic Yoshihiro Yamamura, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reports.
During the meeting, the issues of bilateral cooperation related to the further development of the political dialogue, cooperation in the multilateral format, as well as the intensification of trade and economic relations and the strengthening of cultural and humanitarian contacts between the two countries were discussed.
Abdyldaev stressed the high level of cooperation with Japan over the past 25 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations and expressed gratitude for the assistance provided to Kyrgyzstan.
The Japanese side expressed its readiness to continue providing assistance aimed at cooperation in political, economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
In conclusion, Minister Abdildayev expressed hope for further development of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Japan, and also stressed readiness to assist Ambassador Yamamura in Kyrgyzstan in the diplomatic activity.
