Kyrgyz citizens transferred in 2016 about $ 2 billion from Russia and Kazakhstan

Bishkek, March 6 / Kabar /. For 11 months of 2016, citizens of Kyrgyzstan, working in Russia and Kazakhstan, transferred to their homeland $ 1 billion 834, Minister of Economy of Kyrgyzstan Arzybek Kozhoshev told during a press conference at Kabar Agency.

He said that after accession of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Eurasian Economic Union, along with difficulties there are also positive moments. Membership of Kyrgyzstan in the EEU has provided labor migrants from Kyrgyzstan favorable conditions of stay and simplified procedure for employment.

"In 2016 our migrants sent $ 300 million more compared to 2015, which positively affects our economy," he said.

Also Kozhoshev told about equipping of 4 checkpoints and partially equipping of 7 veterinary checkpoints.
