Bishkek, Dec. 12, 2017 /Kabar/. Trade and Investment Session with the participation of business structures of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan will be held in Tashkent from Dec.13 to 14, 2017, the Kyrgyz Agency for Promotion and Protection of Investment press service reported.
More than 200 businessmen from both countries were invited to attend the session. The main topics of discussion will be agro-industrial complex, processing of agricultural products, light industry, construction industry and IT sector.
Kyrgyz Minister of Economy, Artem Novikov, Minister of Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Zhamshid Khodzhaev, as well as the Director of the Kyrgyz Agency for Promotion and Protection of Investments , Esenkul Momunkulov will present at the official part of the session.
"Further, there will be display of country videos and a plenary discussion on the topic “Prospects for the development of cooperation between countries, legislative aspects and business environment. " By the end of the first part of the session, it is planned to sign documents and summarize the results," the ministry said.
The second part of the event will consist of working sections and private meetings of business representatives of two countries. In addition, an exhibition of Uzbek products will be on the site for two days.
The Trade and Investment Session was initiated by the Kyrgyz Ministry of Economy and the Investment Promotion and Protection Agency of Kyrgyzstan, as well as by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.
