Kyrgyz and Tatar leaders discuss further development of cooperation

Bishkek, July 20 / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev met with head of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation Rustam Minnikhanov who arrived in Kyrgyzstan for a working visit to participate in the International Forum "Altai civilization and related peoples of the Altai language family" in Bishkek.

The press service of the Kyrgyz president reports that during the meeting Atambayev warmly welcomed the guest, thanking him for coming to Kyrgyzstan and participating in the work of the International Forum.

In turn, Minnikhanov thanked the Kyrgyz leader for his visit to Tatarstan, where they held fruitful talks.

The head of Tatarstan also expressed gratitude for the invitation to the Forum "Altai civilization and related peoples of the Altaic language family", noting that this is a very important and meaningful event. "We all think about preserving the language, culture, history. These issues are very important and relevant today, they deserve our special attention," he said.

At the meeting, the sides discussed the issues of further development of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Tatarstan in the framework of multifaceted Kyrgyz-Russian relations.
