Bishkek, Feb. 13 / Kabar /. Bishkek Humanitarian University and Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science reports.
The signing took place in the framework of the IV International Winter School of Journalism and Communication "New possibilities of digital literacy as a matrix of data journalism" in Kazakhstan.
The event brought together students, undergraduates, doctoral students, university professors and journalists from Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.
Business consultant of Internews in Central Asia Olga Kaplina said that, similar workshops have been held for two years.
"Our team studied the mobile applications for journalists and bloggers that can be used, and they really work. I think that mobile technology will evolve, it means that people need of such projects and, of course, there will be proposals from both commercial and non-commercial organizations," she said.
The business consultant of Internews also added that Beeline mobile operator is interested in their project and maybe they will start to conduct master classes in Kyrgyzstan as well.
