Tashkent, May 3 / Kabar /. Daniyar Sydykov, the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan, presented his credentials to President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on May 2, the Uzbek National News Agency reported.
President Mirziyoyev warmly welcoming Sydykov said that Uzbekistan considers the increase to a new level of interrelations with Kyrgyzstan as an important task. "The ties of fraternity that have been tested between our peoples are strengthened in the spirit of mutual respect and friendly relations, common cultural values," he said.
"The talks of Presidents of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev held in Samarkand opened a new page of bilateral cooperation. Uzbekistan is ready for more effective relations with Kyrgyzstan on the basis of mutual respect, mutual recognition of the interests of the parties and in accordance with the norms of international law," the report said.
