Bishkek, April 6 / Kabar /. Permanent Representative of the Kyrgyz Republic to the United Nations (Vienna), Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Vienna Bakyt Zhusupov presented his credentials to Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Yury Fedotov.
The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that on April 5, during the conversation, Zhusupov stressed the importance of cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the UN office in Vienna.
The sides discussed the issues related to the implementation of projects implementing by the UNODC in Kyrgyzstan.
In this regard, Ambassador Zhusupov expressed hope for further support of the state bodies of Kyrgyzstan by the UN Office in the field of combating illicit drug trafficking and international crime.
The UNODC executive director congratulated the Kyrgyz Permanent Representative on the beginning of his diplomatic mission and reaffirmed his readiness to contribute in strengthening cooperation.
